Dua

SubhanAllah šŸ¤²

Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam šŸ’šŸ¤²

Sayyidunā 'Umar al-FārÅ«q ibn al-Khattāb had (by the Will of Allāh) control over the šŸšØš®š« šžš„šžš¦šžš§šš¬ known as 'al-'Anāsir al-Arba'ah'.

Imām Fakhr al-Dīn ar-Rāzī mentions in his Tafsīr that these Four Elements obeyed 'Umar Ibn al-Khattāb:

Ibn Kathīr and others have recorded this:

Sayyidunā ‘Amr wrote to Sayyidunā ‘Umar telling him the proponents regarding the Nile river. He ('Umar) responded and wrote back to him, saying: “You did the right thing. I am sending you a piece of paper with my letter; throw it into the Nile.”

When the letter came, Sayyidunā ‘Amr took the piece of paper on which was written:

“From the slave of Allāh 'Umar, AmÄ«r al-MuminÄ«n, to the Nile of the people of Egypt.

To proceed: If you only flow on your own initiative, then do not flow, for we have no need of you. But if you only flow on the command of Allāh, the One, the Subduer, and He is the One Who causes you to flow, then we ask Allāh, may He be exalted, to make you flow.”

He threw the paper in the Nile and by Saturday morning, Allāh had caused the Nile to flow and Allāh put an end to this particular custom of the people of Egypt.

Imām Abū Bakr Ibn Abī Shaybah has recorded this with a reliable chain, that an earthquake occurred during the time of Sayyidunā 'Umar ibn al-Khattāb:

One day an earthquake hit MadÄ«nah, and 'Umar hit the ground with his stick and said, “Be calm, by the permission of Allāh”, and the earthquake ceased because Sayyidunā ‘Umar ibn al-Khattāb told it to.

šŸÆ) š—”š—œš—„

Al-BayhaqÄ«, Imām Aįø„mad and many others have recorded:

When Sayyidunā ‘Umar Ibn al-Khattāb sent out an army, he appointed a man named Sariyah as their leader. Then while Sayyidunā ‘Umar was delivering the Khutbah, he started shouting: “O Sariyah, the mountain! O Sariyah, the mountain, the mountain!” Then a messenger from the army came and he [‘Umar Ų±Ų¶ŁŠ Ų§Ł„Ł„Ł‡ Ų¹Ł†Ł‡] questioned him [concerning the army], he said: “O Leader of the Believers! We met with the enemy and they had [almost] defeated us, then a voice proclaimed, ‘O Sariyah, the mountain!’ So we put our backs against the mountain and due to this Allāh vanquished them.” This shows us the Karāmah (miracle performed by a friend of Allāh) of Sayyidunā ‘Umar and his knowledge of the Unseen (‘ilm al-ghayb).

šŸ°) š—™š—œš—„š—˜

It’s recorded by al-BayhaqÄ« and others that a fire was extinguished by the shawl of AmÄ«r ul-Mu'minÄ«n Sayyidunā 'Umar al-FārÅ«q ibn al-Khattāb:

It is stated that once during the reign of Sayyidunā 'Umar, a wild fire was observed from a mountain cave and burned everything in the surrounding. People took their plea to the Caliph and the Caliph gave his shawl to Sayyidunā Tamīm ad-Dārī. He asked him to take that shawl to the fire. Upon arrival, Tamīm ad-Dārī observed that the fire started to extinguish by itself as he went near and when he went into the cave the fire extinguished completely and never appeared again.

Dhikr Gives You Strength..

When the Prophet's (‎pbuh) daughter Fatima

(radhi Allahu anha) complained about the

hardship of serving the family, grinding corn

and blisters on her hand, our beloved Prophet

(pbuh) taught his daughter a Dhikr, and said,

"It is better for you than a servant".

SubhanAllah, 33 times, AlHamdulillah, 33 times, and

Allahu Akbar, 34 times (before going to bed)

Sahih Bukhari (vol. 8, book:75, no: 330)

“The one who persists in doing that will find strength in his body that will make him independent of the need for a servant”.

- Ibn Al Qayyim Ų±َŲِŁ…َ Ų§Ł„Ł„Ł‡ُ Ų¹َŁ„َŁŠْŁ‡ِ

What is the real meaning of Islam?

Submission to the will of God

The word “Islam” means “submission to the will of God.” Followers of Islam are called Muslims. Muslims are monotheistic and worship one, all-knowing God, who in Arabic is known as Allah. Followers of Islam aim to live a life of complete submission to Allah. šŸ¤²

Here is an excellent praise for Allah taught to us by our Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam).

Dua for Praising Allah šŸ¤²šŸ’šŸ’šŸ’

O Allah! My Lord! To You belong all the praises the fill of the heavens and the earth! And the fill of anything else that You wish after that! To you belong (all) praise and grace! The most truthful words that (Your) slave can say and we are all your slaves. O Allah! No one can deny to whom you give and no one can give to the one you Deny! No fortune can benefit to it’s possessor against Allah’s Fortune.

How To Pray Tahajjud (Night Prayer)

How To Pray Tahajjud (Night Prayer)

○First start off with reciting the Dua for Tahajjud before starting the salah.

○Then Pray 2 rakats of Salah each (without iqamah) and it can be prayed till 8 rakat, how much of that you want to pray for example, 2 rakat or 4 rakat or 6 rakat or 8 rakat is upto you but more is always better.

○After Tahajjud Salah is done, it is the sunnah to end with three rakat witr and if time is short (Fajr time is near) then end with one rakat of Witr Salah.

○If you are going to pray Tahajjud then pray Witr prayer after Tahajjud Prayer, but if you have already prayed Witr after Isha Prayer then do not pray Witr Prayer again because there is only one Witr in a night.

○Make Dua and ask for forgiveness and for Jannatul Ferdous and refuge against Hellfire.

○It is best to pray Tahajjud Salah 1 to 1.5 hours (last one third of night) before Fajr starts.
