Upon the birth of the Beloved Prophet ๏ทบ, Thuwayba came running to Abลซ Lahab, the Beloved Prophet’s ๏ทบ uncle, to give the good news of the birth of his nephew. Abลซ Lahab became extremely happy and ๐ซ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ฐ๐จ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐ฌ pointed to Thuwayba saying: “I free you in thankfulness of the birth of my nephew!”
What was the outcome of Abลซ Lahab freeing Thuwayba by merely pointing at her on Mawlid?
‘Urwa narrated:
“Thuwayba was the freed slave girl of Abลซ Lahab whom he had manumitted, and then she suckled the Prophet ๏ทบ.
When Abลซ Lahab died, one of his relatives (‘Abbฤs ibn ‘Abd al-Muttalib) saw him in a dream in a very bad state and asked him: ‘What have you encountered?’
Abลซ Lahab said: ‘I have not found any rest since I left you, except that I have been given water to drink in this (๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ฐ๐๐๐ง ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ซ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐ฌ) ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ก๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ฒ๐๐."

Imฤm Qastallฤnฤซ writes:
“How would anyone of the Ummah of the Holy Prophet ๏ทบ fare, who is a Muslim and is steadfast in his belief in the unity of Allฤh and rejoices at his ๏ทบ birth and who spends whatever he can afford for the love of him ๏ทบ?
